Since /u/AEOlovesFascists blocked me, I will respond here for anybody else who is interested in this discussion: There is no part of the original comment that suggests she should be an extra, nor would that make any sense for someone who isn't an actor. I've certainly seen plenty of people suggest exactly that, and it was not excluded in their comment.
The actress for Marlene got to play Marlene again, so if someone was confused about Joceyln's role in the game, they may wish for her to get the same treatment. They didn't specify anything about the type of role she should play.
No one said she should play someone like Abby Why would you assume that's what they meant? All of the roles that have been given to "key people from TLOU1" are major characters, and roles given to actual actors from the game.
